Referrals

How can I request a referral?

You will need to have had an initial appointment with a CU Health GP before you can access the referral request function. This function can be accessed by clicking on the Referral button under Quick actions. Your GP may want to discuss this in more detail with you before organising.

 

What can I request a referral for?

You can request a referral to a specialist or for medical investigations, such as an ultrasound or X-Ray.

 

Why was my referral not approved?

Your GP may want to discuss your referral request in more detail before approving. We will advise you on the next steps, please feel free to get in contact with our team if you have any questions.

 

How do I receive the referral?

The referral will be emailed to your preferred email address via our secure medical practice software.

 

I can’t see my past referrals, how can I access those?

If you can no longer find a referral in your email inbox, please contact  support@cuhealth.com.au and we can resend these to you securely.

 

Can I request pin protection on my referral?

Yes, you can speak to your HCP about having your referral pin protected.
